Flavia Santos is the owner of this Dunes Star Cleaning Service. She learned to clean when she was 8 years old at her mother’s house and sometimes helped her aunts earn some money. From that, Flavia learned to be independent and dream big when she was a little girl.
She always loved having her house clean, organized, and smelling good. At the age of 22, she moved to Connecticut and worked as a helper and a housekeeper in a luxury hotel. After gaining experience and agility, she decided to start her own business. Cleaning the house for her goes beyond just cleaning someone’s home, it’s her life. That’s why she always does her work with love, responsibility, and dedication. In 2019, God directed her to move to South Carolina. She was very afraid to start over, but her Faith always spoke louder. When preparing for the move, God sent her to help her friend with cleaning, where she had the opportunity to meet Miss Susan, who coincidentally was also moving to South Carolina. And there was the mystery of God as it says in Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
While cleaning Mrs Susan Gruner’s house on Daniel Island, she met Lead Designer Vilmarie Bennett who hired her service and also recommended her to Angie, owner of Haven’s furniture stores who also hired her to clean her house and her stores. Since then her business has been growing every day.
She is a Christian and an intercessor in the church where she is a member, she loves domestic animals and in her free time, she enjoys nature, riding a motorcycle, and spending time with people she loves.
